5-Frame Nuc Colonies (Full Payment)
Order now to reserve your high quality 5-frame Italian nucleus colony which will have three frames of eggs, larvae and brood with two frames of nectar and pollen resources and a VHS Minnesota Hygienic Queen.
Purchasing nucleus colonies gives beekeepers a jump start versus package bees. Package bees have to build out comb, collect several frames of nectar and pollen reserves, and run through a 21-day brood cycle to get your first batch of new bees. We sell nucleus colonies instead of packages because we believe the nucs create stronger hives in less time.
Nucs will be available for pick-up at the farm around the first weekend in May (weather-dependent).
